Another watercolour practice. The pencil is there to show these are only tiny paintings.
This one didn’t come out too well, but I wanted to show it because it’s all part of getting better. To name but a few things wrong: Kat came out too dark, Annie’s hair is not very interesting (I need to stop treating the paint like a bucket fill), her makeup is half-assed, and I barely made any effort to shade the thing.

Luckily for Smits, Parley isn’t only interested in swords.
(Dancing experts: I realise the pose is most likely very wrong. I apologise)

Okay, here is my first practice watercolour, done on an off-cut scrap of paper. It’s a panel from Faraway Morning (Chapter 34). I hope to get a lot better at using these things. Also, it looks a lot better in real life.

My extensive notes before starting Chapter 35.

Here is a picture of January and Cookie Monster from my comic.

Last canvas before Thought Bubble. Not sure if anyone would want this hanging in their house but what the hey.

I made another picture for an acrylic frame too, because I couldn’t very well do one of Annie without doing one of Kat too.
Both will be available at Thought Bubble! £30 each, I’m thinking, because there are only two in existence, and they look great in real life.

A renard canvas! And a little one with City Face too, since these are so fun to make.

I like how this came out! It’s a cool little 10x10cm thick acrylic frame I found that is held together with magnets. I used blue watercolour on Annie’s eyes. It looks so much better in real life. I’m going to do another one of these and both will be available at… you guessed it, Thought Bubble!
The dark scribble on her shoulder is my signature on the back. Click for bigger.

An ink wash of Kat. I think I’m getting more comfortable with the brushes and mixing the ink.
